The same model can be seen on the mantlepiece in Gustaf VI Adolf's drawing room at Ulriksdal Palace - In 1923 this room was a radical departure from the traditional royal interiors. It all started with 8,000 people in Stockholm donating money as a wedding gift to create this room and Carl Malmsten was appointed interior designer. He submitted his designs to the then Crown Prince Gustaf Adolf who made a few alterations and then the furniture was made by different cabinet makers in Stockholm.
