The carved and adzed oak form with an undulating service on a rectangular plinth base.
The oak is probably a reclaimed railway sleeper - Milovanovic was interested in the materials of his sculptures having a past and having already performed their primary function. He enjoyed the transformation of a humble material, battered and patinated by its existence, to something sculptural, still and memorialised.
