The doors with fielded panels of lobed decoration opening to reveal a fitted interior of a central green-painted iron safe above three drawers and surrounded by pigeonholes. The inside doors carrying letter racks. Supported by later mahogany stand with a frieze drawer beneath a slide writing surface complete with removeable brass candlestick, on four turned screw-in legs.
