Tuori's Sky Series, created over the course of eleven years, explores the sky as an independent subject in its own right. By layering black-and-white and colour photographs, the artist creates compositions in which some images emerge clearly while others remain only faintly visible. The resulting works exist at the intersection of painting and photography, immersing the viewer in expansive skyscapes rich in depth and luminosity. As with Tuori's earlier portrait series, the influence of painterly traditions is as significant as that of photography.

Tuori's practice spans a wide range of formats, from delicate small-scale prints to large video installations and public artworks. The techniques employed vary according to the nature of each project. In addition to publishing several monographs, Tuori has a strong interest in the book as an artistic medium. His works are represented in numerous major public and private art collections.

Tuori has been represented by galleries such as Galerie Anhava, Helsinki, Persons Projects, Berlin and Purdy Hicks Gallery, London.
